TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Our training and education capabilities are vast; we can train
your management and staff in any laboratory/hospital related
topic.
- Here are just a few examples of training we offer and
how the training may be delivered:
- Required annual laboratory safety training, including
all components of laboratory safety regulations.
- In-service education on laboratory-related topics.
We can prepare comprehensive educational packages which
you can use to educate your staff yourself, or we can
conduct these sessions for you.
- Training material includes printed material, video
sessions, tapes, CDs and Power Point presentations.
- Training can be done for all shifts by scheduling
the training during non-administrative hours.
- Training in reading peripheral smears or body fluid
smears. This can be done on a one-to-one basis or in
small groups.
- Our Training and Education service includes leadership
coaching for Lab Directors and Medical Directors, too. This
is especially helpful when either individual is new, has
not gone through accreditation inspections, and little time
is available to get acquainted with laboratory operations
and complex accreditation processes and requirements. We
can in fact include the entire laboratory at this time.
At the end of our training, the management and the staff
will not only be confident about inspections, but will be
enthusiastic about the challenge.
